Another member of the Candelabra family. It has dark stems and whorls of red buds which open as orange flowers. It is somewhat shorter than some of the other candelabras and is well suited to smaller gardens. It was discovered by George Forrest in 1922 in moist alpine meadows in western Yunnan in China.
