Primula Barnhaven Gold Group
This Barnhaven strain of yellow acaulis is similar to the wild primrose (Primula vulgaris) but has a deeper yellow colour and a more vigorous habit. They are real domes of sunshine and will just keep on flowering. What we like about them is that they flower later than a lot of the other acaulis and will often start when the others are nearly over. Very easy to grow, acaulis primroses will be happy in any shady position that stays fairly damp in summer. Grow them in pots or in borders where they will happily self seed.
