Primula hose-in-hose seed

A seed mixture of the Barnhaven hose-in-hose strains. In the hose-in-hose form the calyx is turned into petals of another flower - so it looks as if one flower is nestling inside another. The name derives from the way fashionable Elizabethan gentlemen wore their long stockings (their “hose”) one inside the other and with the top of the outer one turned down. Very floriferous plants, in addition to being unusual.

Colours include white, cream, mauve, violet, rose, coral, apricot, yellow, red.

N.B: Please note that there will unavoidably be a very small proportion of flowers with normal bloom.
