Primula sieboldii 'Girl of the Limberlost' Group

A Barnhaven seed strain of plants that have fringed light blue flowers. Named by Willie Sinclair after the novel by American author and naturalist Gene Stratton-Porter. Reintroduced in 2013. Awarded Plant Merit at Les Journées de Plantes de Courson à Chantilly in 2015. Photo © Jean-Pierre Delagarde.

Height: 15 - 25cm

Flowering period: Mid-spring – early summer.

Culture: Shade to partial shade. Divide every couple of years. Will grow happily in pots.

Soil: Acid to neutral soil.
