Primula Gold-Laced Hose-in-hose group

Gold-laced polyanthus primula with a red background and gold lace in hose-in-hose form. This form with one flower inside another was very much sought after by enthusiasts in the 19th century, we are proud to be able to revive these stunning and unusual plants. 

We are one of the very few nurseries to be able to provide seeds and plants of this very special plant. We have been working on this strain for a while from a plant provided by Derek Salt and we feel confident we now have a lovely strain that is coming almost true to seed. (N.B There may be a few single flowers in the mix if growing from seed. )
