Spring-flowering botanical cyclamen.
This Cyclamen is a woodland plant from the Mediterranean which flowers in spring, the leaves appearing before the flowers. This form has white flowers which are usually fragrant. It is a good species to grow in the garden. It has interesting shaped leaves with varying patterns which have a darker green 'Christmas tree' pattern in the middle, followed by a lighter green and a dark green edge. Plant in a cool, shady spot a little deeper than other species. If growing in pots, keep cool and damp in the spring and summer months.
