Double primrose 'Strong beer'
A double purple/blue primrose. Unusual because of its polyanthus form and dark colour. We have had this in the nursery for years and have only just identified it properly. It was raised by Bob Brown from Barnhaven double seed.
Culture: Double primroses appreciate a rich, damp soil in partial shade. They will need dividing every couple of years and regular feeding.
